EVENT: How to Stop Radical Gender Ideology in Schools and Enforce Title IX Protections for Girls

Join the Washt­e­naw Repub­li­can Club for an event on Tues­day, April 8 to pro­tect chil­dren from the rad­i­cal gen­der ide­ol­o­gy.

Local school dis­tricts are mis­us­ing Title IX to imple­ment a far-left agen­da that detracts from edu­cat­ing our chil­dren. It also cre­ates a side show that dam­ages women and girls’ sports and threat­ens the pri­va­cy and safe­ty of our girls in lock­er rooms and bath­rooms.

Title IX, a sec­tion of the High­er Edu­ca­tion Act of 1972, pro­hibits sex-based dis­crim­i­na­tion in any school or any oth­er edu­ca­tion pro­gram that receives fund­ing from the fed­er­al gov­ern­ment. Attor­ney Matt Wilk will dis­cuss com­plaints filed against four Michi­gan school dis­tricts and how we can keep all of our schools in line with the law.

Matt Wilk is an attor­ney, par­ent, for­mer Northville Town­ship School Board Pres­i­dent, and Pres­i­dent of Get Kids Back to School, an orga­ni­za­tion that opposed the rad­i­cal lock­downs that dam­aged chil­dren in the 2020–2022 years and con­tin­ues to advo­cate on behalf of chil­dren. Matt is also Pres­i­dent of the Northville Repub­li­can Club.
