Whitmer’s Michigan: Car insurance rates dropped 6% nationally, while in the democrat run State of Michigan our insurance rates are up 12%!
Thanks Democrats!
Per WOODTV:
Nationally, the average full-coverage premium dropped 6% to $2,144 a year in 2025, according to a new Insurify analysis. Wyoming (-30%), Iowa (-25%) and Arkansas (-23%) had the largest price cuts in the nation and were among the 39 states that saw rates fall from 2024.
The decline comes after a rapid premium run-up in recent years that “significantly improved” insurers’ financial footing, the report noted. Now, many insurers are cutting rates to compete for customers.
However, that’s not the case everywhere.
Ten states continued to see prices rise in 2025, led by New Jersey (+20%), Rhode Island (+13%) and Michigan (+12%). Washington, D.C., also posted an 18% increase from the year prior, making it the most expensive place for car insurance in the nation, with full-coverage averaging $4,017 in 2025, per Insurify.
