Democrats launch effort to pose as conservatives and mail “Postcards for Patriots”

A Demo­c­rat front group called “Pro­tec­tors of Equal­i­ty in Gov­ern­ment” (“PEG”) rep­re­sents itself as a non-par­ti­san orga­ni­za­tion.

“We are con­cerned cit­i­zens who have band­ed togeth­er in com­mon cause and in a non-par­ti­san way to answer the ques­tion, ‘Now that the pres­i­den­tial elec­tion is over, what can we do?’ ” they say on their web­site.

Yet on its “Endorse­ments” pages, it sole­ly endors­es left-wing orga­ni­za­tions such as the ACLU, Cam­paign Legal Cen­ter, Immi­grant Legal Resource Cen­ter, and of course, Planned Par­ent­hood.

In fact, Con­gress­man Deb­bie Din­gell her­self pro­mot­ed the orga­ni­za­tion at a recent “town hall” event, in which she encour­aged the audi­ence to par­tic­i­pate in their “Post­cards for Patri­ots” agi­ta­tions.

The orga­ni­za­tion sends post­card mail­ings tar­get­ed to Repub­li­can vot­ers in an attempt to alien­ate them from Pres­i­dent Trump and the Repub­li­can Par­ty.
