This week, state Senate Democrats – with just a one-seat majority, 19–18 – took extreme actions to cover up their failure to ram through hundreds of left-wing bills in the “lame duck” session at the end of last year.
- They stopped enrolling new Senate bills.
- They refused to accept and refer House bills to committees.
- They denied Republicans the right to give explanation for their votes against their bills, despite Senate rules allowing any senator to explain their vote without time restrictions.
