Senator Lindsey Graham Dies After Sudden Illness

Sen­a­tor Lind­sey Gra­ham (R‑SC) has died after a “brief and sud­den ill­ness,” his office said. He was 71. Gra­ham was elect­ed to the Sen­ate in 2002 after serv­ing in the House. He served as Chair­man on the Sen­ate Bud­get and Judi­cia­ry com­mit­tees.  Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump says he spoke with Sen. Lind­sey Gra­ham, R‑S.C., on Sat­ur­day night just hours before the sen­a­tor’s sud­den death.  (Read the arti­cle here.)
