Soft-on-crime Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit has announced he is running for Attorney General of Michigan, presumably to continue Dana Nessel’s ongoing record of abusing the office for left-wing political activism.
Savit worked as a law clerk for activist Supreme Court judges Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sandra Day O’Connor. He has announced that rather than prosecute criminals, he will target “corporate polluters” and prosecute the non-crime of “price gouging” as well as imaginary issues he calls “wage theft” and “consumer abuse.”
He also announced he will persecute landlords, who he labeled “slumlords,” as part of the Democrats’ ongoing war against renters.
Of course, he also promised to focus his efforts on President Trump, who he claimed “is seeking to strip our communities of their fundamental freedoms,” without explanation.
